Conte: “With enthusiasm and courage”

DÜSSELDORF – Ahead of the Europa League final, Antonio Conte spoke to UEFA.com, speaking about how far this Inter side have come and on Friday’s date with Sevilla: “It’s the most important game for us. I think it’s been a positive season overall. We’ve done well and have made huge strides forward.”

On Lukaku and Lautaro Martinez: “It was inevitable that, working hard and working together, a connection between the two would develop. They have the typical selfishness of all strikers, but they also work hard to play for the team and help the others to score.”

On the final against Sevilla: “It’ll be a difficult game. We’re playing a team with more experience and the most trophies in this competition in the last decade. We’ll need to always be aware, but also play our own game with enthusiasm and courage, as we’ve done until now. It’s a final and only the best teams reach the final, so we need to show that we’re the best if we want to win the trophy.”
