Barella: “We've grown and we've shown we're a great team”

DÜSSELDORF – With a goal and an assist in his last two Europa League games, Nicolò Barella has certainly been one of the key figures in Inter’s journey to the final. The Nerazzurri’s midfield terrier spoke to Inter TV and Sky Sport in the wake of the big win at the Düsseldorf Arena: “We showed from the start of the competition that we’re a great team. We needed time, but it all helped us to become a great group, we’re pleased. This is the start of a cycle, it wasn’t easy to start with but mistakes helped us to improve and grow. It’s easier when you play for a great Club, with great players and a great Coach. Conte has helped me to improve in every aspect of the game, in the way I play and the rest. Before, I was more instinctive, now I use my head a bit more. This was an important game for me, I’ve grown a lot by working with great champions and I will continue to work hard to improve.”
