GELSENKIRCHEN - Romelu Lukaku continues to break records. But what really counts is that that his goal, with that lethal left foot of his, put Inter on the road to victory over Getafe, as Inter made it through to the quarter-finals. It's the Belgian's third goal in the Europa League this season, but most importanly it's a goal that sees him hit 30 in all competitions in this campaign: the last Inter player to score at least 30 in a single season was Samuel Eto'o in 2010/11 (37).
Romelu Lukaku spoke to Sky Sport after the match to give his thoughts: "We knew it would be a difficult game, against an aggressive team. The defence did a really good job and we did well at the front. I'm happy with my goal, and Christian's too."
"The miss? These things happen in football, but I'm already thinking about the next game. I want to win and continue to help the team. The work we're doing with the coach is really important. The team is growing and we need to move ahead with the same mentality and desire to improve."
