MILAN - An official Inter Mini-Program for fans all over the globe on WeChat will be unveiled today. This new platform will allow for the creation of a new virtual community, dedicated to our Chinese fanbase.

Inter has had a presence on WeChat since 2014. The App has become indispensible for everyday life in China, serving functions as a social media and messaging service, and from mobile payment to car and bike rental.
With the opening of this new channel, the Club gets even closer to its Chinese fans. The fanbase in the country is in a constant state of growth: there are 42 official Inter Clubs in Chinese, 31% more than last year, while followers on social media number 6 million, 73% more than last year, over five dedicated channels - Weibo, WeChat, Douyin, DongQiuDi, Toutiao.
Inter is the Italian club that has the most followers on Weibo, with more than 4.5 million subscribers to the channel, and also the most number of reads on WeChat. On Douyin, Inter have reached more than 132 million interactions and have posted the best-performing content of any European club - with 2.3 million interactions.
During the 2019/20 season, the number of Inter fans grew by 83% on Weibo, where interactions also increased by 114%. Results for Toutiao and DongQiuDi are on the rise too: reads are up by 147% and 200% respectively, while the Douyin channel has seen an increase of views of 65%.
