de Vrij: "An important comeback for the team"

PARMA – With his goal, Stefan de Vrij started Inter’s late fightback as they took all three points at the Stadio Ennio Tardini on matchday 28 of Serie A. “I’m happy with the goal and the win,” he said to Inter TV. “We always tried to create chances to score. We had a bit of a hard time with their counters, we know they’re good at it and we suffered a bit.”

“Going behind in the first fifteen minutes isn’t easy but we managed the comeback. I’m improving game by game in order to give it my all. It was really important that we managed to come back and win, for the team and the group’s morale. After the equaliser, we took the lead almost straight away, it was important that we went for the win until the end.”

“From here until the end of the season, we want to try and win every game, starting from Wednesday. We’re playing every three or four days, so all of us need to be ready.”
