Inter becomes part of the Osservatorio Italiano Esports network

The Club joins the OIES project to increase its knowledge of the sector and create new business ties. eSports continues to be an important part of the Nerazzurri's strategy


MILAN – Inter has become part of the Osservatorio Italiano Esports network, the first B2B platform allowing for networking and information and training exchanges for stakeholders in the sector. The agreement is part of the Club's strategy to increase its presence in the eSports world and its knowledge of market dynamics on a national and international level.

“The fact that Inter has joined the OIES network is testament to the constant work that the Club is doing to increasingly become involved in this ever-growing phenomenon, with there being a particular focus on Generation Z and the participation of new global audiences,” said Alessandro Antonello, CEO Corporate of FC Internazionale Milano.

Since the creation of its own eSports team in February, Inter has been involved in numerous eSports events covering football and more every week, with Pro Players from Inter|Qlash and players from the Club’s First Team squad involved in the activities.

The stakeholder network and services offered by the OIES will help Inter to pursue its objectives. The OIES continues to work to bring together the most important stakeholders in the sector with the aim of promoting the movement in Italy.

“The admission of a prestigious Club known throughout the world like Inter provides confirmation of the sound basis of the ideas underpinning the project,” said Luigi Caputo and Enrico Gelfi, the founders of the Osservatorio. Inter is one of the most important players in this sector and an international brand. The Club is an ambassador of Italian football on the world stage and of eSports too. Having Inter in our network means welcoming a prestigious entity that will have positive effects on all the other stakeholders."

The Osservatorio Italiano Esports is a spin-off project being carried out by Sport Digital House, a digital agency whose focus is on the sports sector and which develops innovative funnel marketing strategies for companies using its network of athletes and eSports teams.
