MILAN - Tonight sees a special and unmissable episode of Inter Classics, the series in which we stream a full game from the Nerazzurri’s recent past.
Today, 5 May, we couldn’t help but look back on the first trophy of our glorious Treble in 2010.
Ten years to the day since that famous win at the Olimpico, we’ll be looking back on our 1-0 victory thanks to Diego Milito's goal. The game will also be accompanied by a live feed on our social media channels to bring back all the emotions from that triumphant night.
STAT ATTACK
Inter only conceded one goal across the course of the entire competition, which came in a 2-1 win against Juventus in the quarter-finals.
Diego Milito scored two goals in the Coppa Italia that year, both of which came in the first half. His first was in the semi-final first leg against Fiorentina at San Siro, while the second secured the trophy for Inter, making it 1-0 against Roma in the final.
Our Argentinian was the only Nerazzurri player to score more than one goal in the competition.
