MILAN – The Inter Academy Challenge, an all-digital global project that launched earlier this month with Javier Zanetti’s endorsement, ended today. The challenges launched during recent weeks have involved players from ten different countries and rewarded the talent of three winners from the Academy in the Czech Republic, Japan and Canada.
Its aim was to virtually unite many young players via their passion for football, bringing the Nerazzurri colours to various parts of the world, in line with the development of the Inter brand.
Every week, all the young players involved responded to the video-tutorial in which an Inter Academy coach displayed several skills with a ball and challenged the children to replicate them. Three final winners were selected by a coaching jury, who then had the chance to show off their skills on the Club’s Instagram profile as well as launching a new challenge from Inter’s official TikTok profile for all Nerazzurri fans to complete.
Separated but united: the initiative that has united children from all over the world thanks to their passion for football and Inter, is one of a series of activities that Inter Academy are carrying out with its partners’ support all over the world at this difficult time. Another initiative was the online coaching clinics project that, since the start of February, allowed coaches who would usually go to the various Academy countries to train local coaches to do so online from their homes in Italy.
