RAZGRAD – On the eve of Inter’s first-leg clash against Ludogorets in the round of 32 of the Europa League, Andrea Ranocchia answered journalists’ questions at the Ludogorets Arena: “In order to achieve big objectives, you have to take small steps. It requires everyone improving, both on and off the pitch. The Europa League is an important competition for us. We want to do as well as we possibly can, but it won’t be easy against Ludogorets. I always say that whoever is involved with Inter needs to have big ambitions.
“Padelli in goal? Nothing will change for us. All the lads have confidence in everyone here. We’ve been working since July and it’s easier to make changes in certain areas than others. Obviously, it’s not easy to replace Samir, but Padelli has produced some excellent performances. I have faith in him and all of my teammates. This is the foundation required to build a winning side.
“I don’t know if this is the strongest Inter team I’ve played in. I hope so, because it’d mean winning a trophy. The season is now really heating up, but there are still plenty of games left to play. We need to display all that we’ve got from now until the end of the campaign.”
