Padelli: “We’ve proved we’re real men”

MILAN – Daniele Padelli is a Nerazzurri at heart. It was a particularly special feeling for him to be on the pitch in the Derby against AC Milan. Winning the game means his childhood dreams have come true. The Nerazzurri goalkeeper spoke about the match to Inter TV: “It was a bad first half, for me included because I could have done more to prevent the goals. We showed that we’re real men and have character because we overturned a game that seemed over. We’ve put out a strong signal to the rest of the league. It shows us that we’re strong but reminds us we have to play our best without taking our foot off the gas. As a fan, I’ve gone through a rollercoaster of emotions this week and it was tough to come into the side like this. I’m thankful to my teammates who played brilliantly out there.
