Beatrice Merlo wins AIC Women's Player of the Month

MILAN - Beatrice Merlo has been named as the AIC Women's Player of the Month. The Nerazzurre defender was voted by fans as the best player from the month of January, beating Linda Sembrant (Juventus), Lucia Di Guglielmo (Empoli Ladies) and Maria Luisa Filangeri (Sassuolo) to the award. 

Beatrice Merlo expressed her delight at the prize to Inter TV: "It's a massive source of satisfaction for me. I'd like to thank the Club for their faith in me, as well as all the fans for their votes, but let's not forget that this prize is the result of the great work of this team."
