MILAN - Borja Valero bagged his second goal of the season during Tuesday’s 4-1 win over Cagliari in the Coppa Italia, since speaking to Inter TV following his stand-out performance: “Hard work pays off. We’ve put in a huge amount so far, from July up until today, and you can now see the results. Conte gives his all, not leaving any detail to chance, and working to perfection every day. This ensures that we give our all out on the pitch because it filters through to us. We work a lot on our fitness but we’re also well prepared tactically. 

“I’m really pleased to have convinced the Coach of my ability, it’s great to get a chance to play in this team. I know that I can be of importance during the season I hope to keep it that way.”
