The midfielder was back in action after his injury picked up in Turin

NAPLES - He hadn’t played since 23 November, the day of his injury against Torino. But tonight, Nicolò Barella stepped back onto the pitch for Inter as the Nerazzurri came away from the San Paolo with a resounding 3-1 win. However, he won’t be available against Atalanta due to the yellow card picked up tonight. Our central midfielder spoke to Inter TV after the game about how it felt to be back: “Napoli are a strong side and it’s an intimidating environment here, it’s never easy. But we’re a great team, we were focused only on our objective.”

“I’m doing well, I’ve worked hard to rejoin the team. This period long and difficult because I skipped matches that I would’ve liked to play. However, I’m pleased because I know that whoever plays will do really well. This win demonstrates that we’re a strong side, we have one of the best coaches in the world and we are Inter - we want to compete right until the very end.”
