The Primavera tactician speaking after Inter's 1-1 draw with Sassuolo

MILAN - Following Inter’s 1-1 draw with Sassuolo, during which the Nerazzurri were denied all three points due to Manzari’s last-minute equaliser, Primavera Coach Armando Madonna said: “This was our seventh game in a short period of time and we knew that we’d struggle a bit with their physicality. We managed to break the deadlock during the second 45, however, during the remainder of the match we failed to score the goal that would’ve probably secured the win. We then conceded right at the end due to an unfortunate deflection. It’s disappointing, particularly considering that it would’ve been our fifth clean sheet and this is something that’s very important to me.”

Madonna’s side will turn their attention to Wednesday’s fixture against Frosinone in the Primavera TIM Cup: “We must regain our energy for the next few matches. We’ve made changes and we’ll continue to do so to ensure that we put our best team out.”
