MILAN – Over a year since their last meeting in Italy, Inter and Barcelona are set to face each other at San Siro once more. They’ll do so on Tuesday 10 December at 21:00 CET on the final matchday in Group F of the Champions League. It’s a clash that really will determine where the Nerazzurri will next head in Europe.
The call has gone out for the Inter faithful to assemble, and they're ready to push the Nerazzurri on by transmitting positive energy throughout the Meazza. Around 72,000 fans are expected to be in attendance, not just from Italy but from across the world: more than 100 nationalities will be represented in the stands. The only tickets that remain are those for away supporters. Inter fans have once again responded in droves as they get ready to watch a game that will be shown by more than 40 broadcasters in over 200 countries.
Taking into account season tickets, individual tickets and hospitality services, revenue from the match is set to top 7.8 million euros gross. Ticket sales began in the middle of September and continued at a high pace throughout the following weeks. Those who purchased the Champions Pack with tickets to all of Inter’s Group Stage home games were able to save the most, while the days following Slavia Prague vs. Inter saw a real rush to get the final available tickets as the dynamic pricing system proved to be really popular. VIP IN - Inter Hospitality places are also sold out, of course.
Ahead of this unmissable fixture, the turnstiles will open early at 18:00 CET in order to allow fans to enjoy the atmosphere and pre-match activities to the fullest extent. All supporters are invited to arrive at the stadium well in advance to avoid long queues and support the lads right from when they start warming up.
