— Dec 5th 2019Today was the official birth of the new Nerazzurri project in the Middle East
MILAN – Nerazzurri colours in Saudi Arabia: the start of Inter Academy WER KSA, a project that further strengthens Inter’s presence in the Middle East.
Inter’s Chief Corporate Executive Officer Alessandro Antonello, along with Chief Marketing Officer Luca Danovaro, met with Inter Academy WER KSA Chairman Saeed Al Ahmari and CEO Klemen Gradisar at Inter HQ today to officially sanction the beginning of the partnership.
“We are thrilled to announce the opening of this new Academy in Saudi Arabia. It is only further evidence of the Club’s ongoing growth internationally, especially in the Middle East, an area of fundamental importance to us,” said Alessandro Antonello, Corporate CEO of FC Internazionale Milano.
“It’s an honour for us to be part of the Inter family, we’re hoping for a future full of satisfaction and we hope that this partnership can last for many years,” were the words of Inter Academy WER KSA Chairman Saeed Al Ahmari.
The start of technical activities is scheduled for January 2020, with a Nerazzurri coach heading to the city of Abha to work closely with local coaches in bringing the philosophies and values of Inter into the area.
This new opening in Saudi Arabia further expands the borders of Inter Academy which now has 20 permanent projects, with more than 20,000 boys and girls and more than 400 local coaches involved all around the world.
