Analysis from the the Nerazzurri Youth Sector director after the Primavera lost against Slavia Prague in the UEFA Youth League

MILAN - “Along with qualification, our primary objective is to always be focused on giving excellent performances. Unfortunately we didn’t manage it against Slavia.” Roberto Samaden, head of the Nerazzurri Youth Sector, commented on Armando Madonna’s Primavera team’s defeat in the UEFA Youth League on matchday five.

Speaking to Inter TV, he had this to say about the 4-1 deafeat: “We put in an underwhelming performance. After a decent start we didn’t have the ability to match up to our opponents. Now we need to focus on getting back to winning ways without looking back too much.”

“There was some overconfidence on our part; in a competition like this all of the teams are a challenge and you always have to give 100%. Without a doubt we didn’t play to our potential, the lads need to learn to give their all from the first minute to the last.”
