Inter 2 - 1 Empoli, all you need to know

MILAN - In collaboration with Opta, we’ve put together all the facts and figures you need to know following Inter’s win against Empoli at San Siro: ​

• Inter have qualified for the Champions League for the second successive year for the first time since the 2010/11 campaign

• Inter have recorded 12 wins in 13 home games against Empoli in Serie A (one loss) and scored at least two goals on eleven occasions

• Inter have won two home league games in a row for the second time in 2019

• Three of Inter’s last five goals at San Siro have been scored from outside the box. Prior to this, the Nerazzurri had scored just one of their previous 22 home league goals from distance.

• Keita scored for the first time since December, when he found the net against Empoli. The Azzurri are the team he’s been most successful against when it comes to finding the back of the net in Italy’s top tier (he’s scored three against them).

• Radja Nainggolan has scored two goals in his last three Serie A games played at San Siro.
