SESTOSANGIOVANNI - The Nerazzurri won out in the #DerbyMilano once again with Inter beating AC Milan 4-2 in a hard-fought and entertaining match. At the whistle, the Coach and players spoke to Inter TV.
ArmandoMadonna: "It was a difficult match, Milan are a side who play well and create different chances. We found ourselves behind but I fortunately have players who don’t give up and with the quality needed to turn it around and that’s what happened. The strength of my squad is also on the bench, everyone is showing that they’re ready and it makes things easier. The guys show that they have a sense of belonging every day and I’m very happy with this."
NiccolòCorrado: "We’re very happy, we prepared for the game well and claimed three important points. It wasn’t easy to come back, but with lots of tenacity, we managed to do so. Now, we need some time to work together and get our energy back."
ThomasSchirò: "Winning a derby is always a unique sensation, it really is wonderful. Compared to the previous meeting we were able to finish it off sooner by showing great strength. We’re very confident for the end of the season, the aim is to think about each game as it comes and keep winning."
SebastianoEsposito: "It’s always a pleasure to score in a derby. Personally, I’m very happy to help the team with my set pieces. The team is doing very well, both physically and mentally. A lot is happening at the moment but I need to keep my feet on the ground and always think of what is good for the team. To come on isn’t easy but you always need to give everything for the time that you are on when called upon."
EddieSalcedo: "We all worked together, like a great group. After the penalty save, I stopped for a moment and then saw the ball coming in from Colidio and I got to it and breathed a sigh of relief. We’re always working well and those who come on can also make the difference. Now, we’re thinking about each game as it comes, always looking to bring home the three points."
