De Vrij: "It's important we finish the season well, we aim to win every game"

APPIANOGENTILE - Two days ahead of the Frosinone game, Stefan De Vrij spoke to Sky Sport about his work to rejoin the rest of the squad for the final run-in. "I feel good, I’ve trained with the team these days without any problems. I’m ready to play and I’m available."

Frosinone will be the Nerazzurri’s next league opponents and they come into the game off the back of two straight wins. "Frosinone are doing well, they won in Florence against Fiorentina and that’s a difficult place to go to, above all because they’re strong with the support of their crowd so we need to be ready. It’s a vital game ahead of us. The aim is to return to the Champions League so we need a top-four finish, we’re looking to win every game, starting from Sunday."

Finally, there was time to discuss his goal in the derby. "It was an incredible feeling, I hit the bar in the previous meeting when I lacked a bit of luck but it went in this time and we won the game. It’s a memory that I’ll always carry with me even if the game is behind us now and we have to look ahead."
