SESTO SAN GIOVANNI - Following the 3-1 win from behind against Roma, ArmandoMadonna spoke to the press. "We put in a performance which was similar to the one in Florence but with a different result," he began by saying. "We’ve been playing well of late, we need to show more conviction when looking to score. That’s what we did in the second half and it went well."
On the difficulties in dealing with set pieces: "We don’t have that much height in the box even if it needs to be said that we’ve not conceded many from these situations. Dead balls are important and this is something we’ve been working on for some time."
"I’m convinced that this team has room to improve further but I’m very proud of my guys. In terms of the first team, we are Inter. Spalletti is very happy with our results and with my players who help him in training and this is already something very important."
Finally, there was a quick comment on the upcoming Viareggio Cup: "There will be chances to see players who have featured less but these guys have always trained well."
