Spalletti: "We are Inter and we need to respond to these difficulties"

"Considering Cagliari’s approach, there was no point in bringing someone on to move the ball around outside the box, I needed someone to get in the box to try and change the game with long ball or from a set piece. It’s something that has always been done, but we weren’t able to make the most of the situation."

"In a single game, we’ll have moments where we do things at a high very standard and others where we struggle to stay consistent as a team. There were complications that can weigh on you and you just need to look at what happened in Florence to see that. However, we must be used to that if we wear these colours and we need to respond well to all difficulties."
