The UNGA adopted the Universal Declaration of Human Rights 70 years ago today. It is at the heart of the activities that Inter Campus carries out

70 years have passed since the United Nations General Assembly approved and adopted the Universal Declaration of Human Rights on 10 December 1948. Although not legally binding for member states, the Declaration is a document that is recognised by most civilised nations. Given that its 30 articles universally enshrine the inalienable rights of all members of the human family, it is of great historical importance. The right to life, freedom, equality and dignity are among the most important rights included in its articles.

Sport is considered a tool through which universal values can be transmitted. It has the intrinsic power to promote primary rights such as social inclusion, education and recreation.

Inter Campus is also celebrating this day and, with its football and education projects on pitches throughout the world, is committed to ensuring that the rights of everyone, especially children, are respected.
