Antonello: "We're focused on our objectives"

MILAN - The Nerazzurri’s CEO AlessandroAntonello spoke to the press just before the announcement of the 2018-19 Serie A TIM fixtures. "This season, Inter wants to play a leading role. We’re focused and we’ve worked well at Appiano at the Suning Training Centre, in our home with all the facilities at our disposal."

"With the arrival of big stars, Serie A has regained that status that it had before, perhaps we’re at the start of a journey that will lead to us being more attractive compared to other leagues." 

"As all people are now used to watching events on their phones, we have to keep up with the times. I don’t want to discuss the transfer market, I let the directors get on with their jobs. We still have a couple of things to put in place for next season. There are rules to be respected if you want to do well, everyone is working properly and we expect this to bear fruit." 

"Icardi’s contract renewal? There’s no rush. Mauro is the captain of the team and there’s no pressure over the contract. We’re focused on our objectives."
