It was the final test before Russia 2018 for the Nerazzurri defender who was on for the whole of the 3-0 win against Austria

VIENNA - The Seleçao won comfortably in their final friendly before heading to the World Cup in Russia between 14th June and 15th July. JoaoMiranda captained Brazil and played the full match as they beat Austria 3-0. Gabriel Jesus, Neymar and Coutinho scored the goals.
