This morning, kids from Monza Hospital who have recovered from leukaemia and who are still recovering had fun with special guest Beppe Baresi

This morning at the Suning Youth Development Centre, the final encounter of the season took place between Inter Campus and the boys and girls from Monza Hospital.

The ‘Giocare Aiuta a Guarire Meglio’ [play aids better recovery] initiative from Inter Campus along with the hospital and Maria Letizia Verga Committee promotes football as a therapeutic tool. It underlines the value of sport in physical and mental recovery for childhood lymphoma and leukaemia patients.

Every day with Inter Campus was a bit special and but today was even more so when Beppe Baresi turned up at the pitch. The Nerazzurri legend greeted the children and presented them with souvenirs in memory of the past season spent together.
