Inter Academy Yihai Beijing star in Soccer Day

BEIJING - The second edition of Soccer Day celebrations recently took place on 5th May, with the entire event focused on football. The Italian Embassy School in Beijing organised the day to celebrate the first anniversary of collaboration with Inter Academy Yihai Beijing.

During two and a half years, the project put together by Inter Academy Yihai Beijing has enjoyed exponential growth. At the moment there are more than 600 kids taking part, with 30 Chinese coaches still training under the supervision of two Italian coaches for the entire season. Other than Yihai School - the main centre for the Yihai Education group - the Inter Academy Beijing family also relies on collaboration with three public schools, which are among the top five in the capital.   

This event reaffirms the commitment of the Italian Embassy School in Beijing, who are seeking to spread the values of football from both a sporting and educational perspective. Together with their families, there were 100 kids present at the event, with more than 300 people sharing sporting moments. The kids also had their first Nerazzurri experience with Inter Academy coaches Raffaele Quaranta and Giuseppe Fonseca.

The day’s activities concluded with a match and awards ceremony, with all the young athletes receiving a certificate of participation.
