The experience of Fly to 110 winner Katia

MILAN - Inter Club Mogliano Veneto member Katia Caranci was the fortunate winner out of thousands of entrants from all over the world to the Fly To 110 competition. It was the exclusive opportunity for Inter Club members to enjoy an unforgettable experience at the celebration of Inter’s 110th anniversary. Katia who travelled to Milan together with her husband Lorenzo for the Nerazzurri’s celebrations, talks about her passion for Inter. 

How and when did you become an Inter fan?

In my family, my brother is a Lazio fan while my dad likes Inter. My passion for the Nerazzurri colours stemmed from there, it then really exploded when I married my husband Lorenzo. 

Who is your favourite player?

Javier Zanetti. I had the chance to meet him thanks to the Fly to 110 contest and he’s really a great person beyond having been one of the greatest players in our team. 

What was an unforgettable match for you?

There are lots of games to remember. However, in my heart I’ll always have the 7-0 win in Inter vs. Sassuolo because that was the first time at San Siro for my son Samuel. Like his dad, he’s a huge Inter fan and he was celebrating every goal in the stands together with his friends, it’s a wonderful image that is carved into my mind.

How do you feel when at San Siro?

To arrive at San Siro is always a great feeling. After the trip together with other members from my Inter Club, to enter the Scala of football and breathe in the enthusiasm and atmosphere always gives you lots of energy and excitement and there’s even more after a goal.

What does being an Inter Club member mean to you?

To be an Inter Club member is an extraordinary opportunity to follow the team from up close and to share this passion together with other people.

How would you describe your experience in Milan for Inter’s 110th anniversary?

It was an unforgettable experience. There were really lots of surprises, we met a lot of figures who made Nerazzurri history…All as if we were real VIPs! We’ll remember those days for a long time. I can’t do anything other than thank Inter for allowing me to experience this wonderful initiative.
