Inter Academy Health: Second internship in Milan for iCure

MILAN- On Tuesday 27th March, the second internship in Milan for Inter Academy Health’s Japanese partner iCure came to a close. Through a series of activities in the classroom and on the pitch that were coordinated by Inter Academy and the club’s medical staff, two physiotherapists had the chance to assist the Youth Sector’s doctors and take part in the daily work that is carried out at the Suning Youth Development Centre in Memory of Giacinto Facchetti. 

Great attention was paid to events on Friday 23rd March when the Japanese partners were invited to the Inter Medical Meeting organised by Prof. Volpi at San Siro. There, they studied aspects relevant to sports medicine and football and had the chance to listen to some of the main experts in the topics discussed. 

The following day, Prof. Gian Nicola Bisciotti who is the Director for Physiotherapy in FC Internazionale Milano’s medical department, held a special lesson on Groin Pain Syndrome where he showed the changes that have come in recent years for this issue which is difficult to diagnose and treat.
