The two former Nerazzurri players were back at Appiano Gentile and interviewed by Inter TV: "Performances against the big teams are a positive sign"

APPIANO GENTILE - Hernan Crespo and Maicon were back at Appiano Gentile to visit the team two days ahead of the trip to Genoa to face Sampdoria. Both were interviewed exclusively by Inter TV: "Sampdoria are a very compact side that can struggle when facing an opponent that plays at a high tempo," said Crespo. "By counting on this, Inter can hurt the Ligurians who are a dangerous side and they play good football."

Maicon described how it felt to visit the Suning Training Centre: "It’s always nice to come back to Appiano Gentile, it’s my second home. Against Napoli who play the best football in Italy, I saw a good Inter side. Against the big teams, Inter have always done well and this is certainly a positive sign."

"The match against Sampdoria? I’ve got positive memories of matches against the Blucerchiati because I scored my first Inter goal against them. My favourite memory from here? Certainly the Champions League win but over the course of six years with this shirt, there were lots of unforgettable moments."
