APPIANO GENTILE – It was press conference day at the Suning Centre for Luciano Spalletti who responded to questions from journalists a day ahead of the match against Bologna tomorrow.
“Unfortunately, Mauro won’t take part, he tried to be a part of the group but he felt some pain in movements with the ball so the medical tests that have been done brought us to the conclusion that it’s better to wait.”
“I feel like a really fortunate person, I’m at Inter in a wonderful atmosphere and at a very strong team. I’m happy here. It doesn’t matter what other teams do, what we do is all that matters. Everyone has their own path.”
“We need to play at a higher level in attack, we need to give something more but we can’t lose the balance of the team either. This balance is always key. We’ll look to give something extra again tomorrow. This week, we worked in a bit of a different way. I need to do the basics which impact the immediate future, we need to get a result. It’s right to think about organising for the future but right now we need to only think about the present. Lately, we’ve suffered some setbacks which are below our standard and potential. We obviously need to sort this and that’s all there is to it.”
“Rafinha? There are also some strong doubts here and tests will be performed. It’s clear that we’re thinking of him as an option because he can give us quality on the ball and in build-up play.”
