Ausilio: "We're focused on reaching our objectives"

FLORENCE - Prior to Fiorentina vs. Inter at 20:45 CET tonight, PieroAusilio was discussing the Nerazzurri with Mediaset Premium: “We are aware of our parameters and also the characteristics that we're looking to add to the squad during the January transfer market. 

“The coach has the right to make his decisions and he believes in all of the players that he has available. Joao Mario plays in that position with his National Team and it is a technical and tactical choice made specifically for this match. 

“Icardi? There is a clause in his contract but we are not worried. I will not exclude the possibility of discussing his contract once again, however we’ll do so without any dates or obligations. As of now, both him and the club are simply focused on reaching our objectives.

“We’ve had a drop in results, falling off a bit and missing some chances. However, the levels of fitness and work-rate are not lacking. Inter must get back into the Champions League and we are all focused on achieving this goal.”
