With an invitation from the UN, Inter Campus are set to attend an event entitled “Sport as a catalyst for building prosperous and resilient societies”

MILAN - After their trips in 2012, 2014 and 2016, a delegation from the Nerazzurri will now once again return to the United Nations Headquarters. Their first experience six years ago was the first time in history that a professional football club had been a guest at the United Nations’ main office.

Following an invite from the United Nations Department of Economics and Social Affairs, Inter Campus will today take part in the event entitled “Sport as a catalyst for building prosperous and resilient societies”. The topic will be presented by Ambassador Sebastiano Cardi, who is the Permanent Representative of Italy to the UN.

The objective is to underline the instrumental role of sport in developing world-wide strategies. In addition to the Inter delegation, there will also be top UN officials present, as well as representatives from some of the largest companies from across the globe, including some from Italy.
