MILAN - A few days on from the Nerazzurri’s first Supercoppa Primavera TIM win, Academy Director Roberto Samaden was a guest in the Mediaset Premium studios to speak about the triumph of Stefano Vecchi’s side in the final against Roma. "It’s a trophy that we lacked, it was almost jinxed. We’re really happy to have finally won it thanks to our support at San Siro as well."
"We work as a group and it’s a pleasure to be here today to represent it. Stefano Vecchi brings added value, he played and developed in the youth system, he’s a part of us and our history. He’s a top player for us. Now, we’ll focus on the league again because we’re back on the pitch Saturday. Then, at the start of February we have the UEFA Youth League play-off, let’s hope we can count on the support at San Siro again."
There was also a comment on Facundo Colidio who starred in the final with a brace. "He’s a great young talent, that’s known. But he's not the only one. The hope is that Italy will open up to B teams soon because this would help young players more and strengthen our football system."
