This is what the Nerazzurri CEO had to say during Friday's press conference


MILAN - Following the FC Internazionale Milano Shareholders' Meeting on Friday, CEO AlessandroAntonello and CCO RobertFaulkner both took past in a press conference.

Having initially covered themes related to the meeting, Antonello then responded to questions from some of the journalists present: “We are working under the UEFA settlement agreement. All clubs must respects the FFP regime that is in place.”

“As for the stadium, we are in discussions with the Milan Council and Milan. The San Siro is an iconic stadium on both the European and World stage, but it must now reach the standards compared to other top European clubs. The reconstruction is a fundamental means of improving revenue. The San Siro is Inter’s home and we want to stay there. We are ready to refurbish it.”

“With Inter Media House, our creation and distribution of digital content allows fans to get closer to the team and also help generate further revenue. The Asian market can play a key part in our commercial development. The involvement of Stevan Zhang will help make the decision-making process easier.”

“The success of the Youth Sector is a feather in our cap. In addition to Pinamonti and Vanheusden, our hope is to now promote other players to the first team.”

“Sporting results help guide strategy. The objective is to quality for the Champions League and the technical decisions up until now have been very positive. Compared to a year ago, we are now second in the standings and we have time to make any necessary evaluations for the January transfer market.”

“We are enjoying a positive spell at the moment, We’ve made huge investments in the Suning Centre, the Media House and also Inter TV. However all clubs, the objective is to keep improving and become self-sufficient.”
