Crotone vs. Inter: Stats and trivia

MILAN - Inter are in search of their fourth win of the season at the Stadio Ezio Scida in Crotone. In collaboration with Opta, here are the stats and trivia for the match.

From the past two matches against one another, each side has one win each. Inter have won their two last away matches 3-1 and the Nerazzurri haven’t scored at least three goals in four consecutive away matches since December 2001. Inter have always in the fourth round of fixtures for the past four years in Serie A. 

No team has conceded fewer (just one) goals or shots on target (seven) than Inter this season. Inter have been in the lead for the longest time this campaign (160 minutes). Four out of Inter’s eight goals have came after crosses from the flanks and the Nerazzurri are the most effective team from this kind of situation. 

Mauro Icardi’s next appearance will be his 150th for Inter in all competitions. He’s scored 83 goals in all competitions and netted five in the past three away games in Serie A. 

Ivan Perisic has been involved actively in nine goals (six assists and three goals) from his last five Serie A appearances. From Perisic’s 17 assists in Serie A, ten of them (59 per cent) were for Icardi goals. 

Only Genoa’s Lazovic (21) has played more crosses than Antonio Candreva (19) and Perisic (18) so far in the league. Danilo D’Ambrosio’s last Serie A goal came at the Scida back in April. No player has completed more headed clearances than Milan Skriniar (13). Yuto Nagatomo’s next appearance will be his 200th for Inter in all competitions.  

Old Inter faces: Alex Cordaz developed at the Nerazzurris youth academy without ever playing for the first team in Serie A. Davide Faraoni made his debut for Inter in November 2011 against Cagliari and scored his first goal against Parma in January 2012. Overall, he made 14 appearances for Inter in the top flight.
