Padelli signs for Inter

MILAN – Daniele Padelli has put pen to paper on a two-year contract with the Nerazzurri.
Born in Lecco on 25 October 1985, his footballing education came at Lecco and then Como before he signed for Sampdoria as a professional in 2004.
He has experience playing for several Italian clubs as well as Liverpool in England. On 13 May 2007, he made his Premier League debut for the Reds in a 2-2 draw with Charlton at Anfield. His debut in Serie A came three years later for Bari in a 3-3 draw with Udinese on 9 May 2010.
Udinese then signed Padelli in 2011 as Samir Handanovic’s understudy. He played in the Europa League during his second season at the Friulian club.
He moved to Torino in 2013 and spent four years there, making 116 appearances overall in Serie A, the Coppa Italia and the Europa League. He has received 10 call-ups to the Italy squad.
Padelli will be available for pre-season training at Brunico.
