PHNOM PENH
- Inter Campus' visit to Cambodia as ever received the full treatment, with the boys and girls from the Missione Possibile non-profit school forming a guard of honour to welcome us.
Missione Possibile, our partner on the ground, have been working with passion and commitment for many years to improve the desperate living conditions of the local population. A mobile clinic provides healthcare in areas where there is no access to hospital facilities and, in the village of Rong, the association offers educational support. This support throughout the curriculum allows hundreds of children and young adults to study and play football with Inter Campus.
Rong is a village in the midst of paddy fields. As ever, we do our work directly on the pitch, where 175 kids train on a daily basis alongside local coaches Malup and Samrach.
As we look back on the work we've done in Cambodia over the years, we are more convinced than ever of the importance of our efforts, in partnership with Missione Possibile, to foster the development of the village's boys and girls. This project gives them an outlet to have fun and learn.
