was one of the stars of Inter's victory over Lazio at the Stadio Olimpico on Sunday night. The defender spoke to Inter Channel after his goal gave the Nerazzurri a foothold.
"Our quick equaliser stopped us from overthinking things. We did well to react and then we got the win. That shows that when you want something and you all dig in as a unit - as we did tonight - you get results.
"It was a proud performance from all of the players and that's crucial. We wanted to turn our bad form around because no one's happy. We managed it by showing the right mentality and that's why we won the game.
"We're pleased. The match became easier with Lazio's red cards but when you approach games in the right way, they take care of themselves."
