Speaking to Inter Channel after Sunday evening’s game, the defender found it hard to hide his disappointment with the defeat

MILAN – Marco Andreolli made a substitute appearance in the second half of the Nerazzurri’s loss at home to Napoli. Speaking after the match he said: "We’ll go over the game during the week. The team approached the match in the right way. The disappointment of the result is two-fold, because we wanted a different result for our fans too.

"We were up against the team that arguably plays the best football in Italy. We were therefore careful not to lose balance and get hurt by their pace on the counter attack. In the second half, they didn’t allow us any space. When they find space in attack, they know how to cause damage.

"It’s a tough moment for us, but you get out of situations like this by being ruthless and determined. We’re three points behind sixth spot. We cannot allow ourselves to simply give up. We’ll work on the errors we made today and we’ll look to rectify them during the week."
