The Croatian winger, who scored two today, praised the team's response and called upon his team-mates to keep this up until the end of the season
CAGLIARI – With his two goals against Cagliari this afternoon, Ivan Perisic has added another brace on the road to the one he scored at Udinese earlier this season.
Nevertheless, the winger was most pleased by the team's reaction to last week's defeat against Roma.
"We're pleased with these three fundamental points," Perisic began. "We tried to take on board the lessons we learned against Roma and it led to this fantastic win, which wasn't easy at the start.
"This is the reaction we were looking for. We're a top side and we have to continue in this way. Third place? We still believe, we have to keep this up right until the end.
"I like playing wherever the coaches decides to play me," he concluded. "I'll do what the team needs."
