"Pleased with the result but less so with our performance. We were off-colour today." Primavera boss analyses Inter's 2-0 win over Bologna

BOLOGNA - Stefano Vecchi admitted his team were fortunate to come away from Bologna with all three points on Saturday.

Mouhamed Menaour Belkheir and Andrea Pinamonti struck a fine pair of goals late on to seal a 2-0 win after the Nerazzurri had ridden their luck somewhat before then.

"I'm pleased with the result but it wasn't our best performance of the season,” the coach told Sportitalia after the match.

“It was a bit of a strange game. Bologna probably deserved more than they got. We came away with three points but we were off-colour today.

“We were lucky not to concede and did well to score when we had the chance. We made lots of mistakes but I don't think it's a question of us showing the wrong attitude or getting our approach wrong.

"In any case, these three points we've earned today are worth double."
