— SundayAt the KONAMI Youth Development Centre, the third edition of We Are Sport was hosted, an event dedicated to the inclusion of all kinds of disabilities in the football world, in celebration of the International Day of Sport for Development and Peace.
The event saw various associations participate including Bebe Vio Academy and Real Eyes Sport, an association promoting sport for blind and visually impaired people, led by Daniele Cassioli.
Inter Special, Snakes Milano, Accademia Isola Bergamasca and the youngsters from our Youth Sector were also involved.
On behalf of the Club, Nerazzurri Vice President Javier Zanetti and Chief of Staff Max Catanese were in attendance.
After the prizes were awarded to the winners, all participants gathered to celebrate the day of sport with refreshments organised together with the inclusive catering service Pit'sa.
The aim of the initiative, created with the support of Enel, Official Energy Partner of Inter, is to raise awareness about various disabilities, accompanied by the incredible value of sport as a tool for affirmation and social inclusion.
