Zanchetta's Primavera won a precious 3-1 victory against Empoli at the Konami Youth Development Centre, on Matchday 9 of the championship. It was all decided in the second half: Topalovic opened the scoring with a quick tap-in, followed by Alexiou's goal in the 89th minute to give the Nerazzurri a 2-0 lead. Empoli tried to reopen the game with Moray in the 91st minute, but Lavelli in the 95th minute sealed the result with the 3-1 final goal.
