APPIANO GENTILE - Preparations for Saturday's Serie A match against Lazio continued today with a morning workout at the training ground.

With eleven players away on international duty and Zlatan Ibrahimovic due back following a series of medical tests, Roberto Mancini had a reduced squad for Wednesday's session.

The Nerazzurri, including Primavera goalkeeper Vid Belec and midfielders Alberto Gerbo, Renè Khrin and Daniele Pedrelli, performed warm-up, technique, possession, athletic and tactical drills, and played a series of training games.

After yesterday's session with the squad, Cesar performed strengthening exercises in the gym and went through a high-intensity aerobic workout.

Besides the Brazilian, Esteban Cambiasso (physiotherapy, cycling), Olivier Dacourt (strength building, running), Luis Figo (physiotherapy, strength building, running on pitch) and Walter Samuel (strength building) also worked separately.
