APPIANO GENTILE - Inter winger Cesar gave the following interview to Sky Italia after Thursday's training session.
Cesar: you had a chance to score against Genoa. Did you keep the goal for the match against Juventus?
"Let's hope so, but it's never easy to score. It was an incredible miss yesterday, so let's hope I can score against Juventus."
Why is the game against Juventus such an important match at this stage of the season?
"Every match is important, especially when you face a title rival like Juventus, Milan or Roma. In these cases stopping them and increasing your lead in the table is decisive. And it will be important to maintain our lead over Roma. If we hadn't won at the Olimpico, we wouldn't have a three-point advantage over them."
Does the four-point lead over Juventus mean Inter can play for two results out of three?
"We never play to draw. At this level you can't think about drawing because a team that wants to stay at the top of the table must think about winning. We have the incentives, we know it's a very hard match, but we can do well. We have to think about winning against a great team at a difficult ground."
Are you more frightened of Juventus' individual players like Trezeguet and Del Piero, or the team as a whole?
"They have a lot of important players and they are a balanced, tough team who always try to be aggressive with and without the ball. It will be a nice match. Inter have to do their best if they want to win."
Do you think Inter are a better team than Juventus in this moment?
"Inter have a good squad of players who want to win, but Juventus are a great team with champions in their squad too. Inter have shown they have a great squad and have shown their strength in the hardest moments. There are a lot of matches to go, but with this squad and the great desire we have to do well, we can win at the end."
