BAHRAIN TOUR: SCHEDULE & CALL-UPS

MILAN - Inter are on their way to Bahrain to begin preparations for the first competitive fixture of 2007 (Empoli v Inter, Tim Cup quarter-final first leg, 9 January at 21:00) with a four-day training camp in the Middle Eastern country.
After a quick training session at the Centro Sportivo Angelo Moratti (abdominal exercises & 20-minute run for squad; therapy for Recoba), Adriano, Marco Andreolli, Lambros Choutos, Ivan Cordoba, Hernan Crespo, Olivier Dacourt, Fabio Grosso, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Marco Materazzi, Paolo Orlandoni, Alvaro Recoba, Francesco Toldo, Patrick Vieira and Javier Zanetti boarded a direct flight from Milan's Malpensa airport to Bahrain.
Luis Figo and Dejan Stankovic will make the short trip from Dubai to join their team-mates while Fabian Carini, Julio Cesar, Maicon, Maxwell and Santiago Solari will arrive this evening. A second group of South Americans, Nicolas Burdisso, Ricardo Cruz, Mariano Gonzalez and Walter Samuel, are due in Bahrain on Wednesday morning.
Starting from tomorrow, the team will train twice each day at the National Stadium in Manama. Before returning to Italy the Nerazzurri will face the Bahrain national team, coached by Hans Peter Brigel, at 18:00 local time (16:00CET) on Saturday 6 December at the National Stadium.
