FACCHETTI WRITES TO NIGERIAN FA

MILAN - On the Nigerian FA's official website Nerazzurri striker Obafemi Martins' date of birth appears as 1 May 1978 instead of 28 October 1984 (as indicated on all documents in possession of the player).
Signed by president Giacinto Facchetti, FC Internazionale sent a letter to Nigerian FA officials this morning requesting that the error, reported in several Italian newspapers today, be corrected immediately.
